SMS Terms & Conditions
Introduction
Welcome to text messaging with Snow & Sauerteig LLP. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your receipt of text messages from Snow & Sauerteig LLP, its agents, representatives, employees, affiliates, or anyone texting on our behalf. By opting in to receive text messages from Snow & Sauerteig LLP, you agree to these SMS Terms. These SMS Terms are incorporated into and made a part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive text messages, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages (including SMS and MMS) from Snow & Sauerteig LLP at the mobile telephone number you provide. You may opt in to receive text messages by:
Speaking with one of our representatives and providing verbal consent;
Sending an email requesting to receive text messages;
Responding to a text message with an opt-in keyword such as “START,” “YES,” OR “SUBSCRIBE”;
Use of this website and agreeing to our terms and conditions;
Completing a web form or other written consent form; or
Any other method that demonstrates your express consent.
Authorization and Certification
By opting in to receive text messages, you authorize Snow & Sauerteig LLP to deliver or cause to be delivered text messages to the telephone number you have provided using an automated system for the selection and dialing of telephone numbers or the transmission of prerecorded messages.
You certify, represent, and warrant that:
You are the subscriber to the mobile telephone number provided or are authorized by the subscriber to provide consent to receive text messages at that number;
You are at least 18 years of age;
You are permitted to receive communications at any telephone number you have provided to the creditor of your account, to a prior debt collector or servicer, or to Snow & Sauerteig LLP;
You will promptly notify Snow & Sauerteig LLP if you change or relinquish your mobile telephone number; and
You will inform Snow & Sauerteig LLP of any shared telephone number to which you do not consent to messages being sent.
Consent Not Required for Services
Your consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services, entering into any agreement, or resolving your account with Snow & Sauerteig LLP. You may choose not to receive text messages and still conduct business with us through other communication channels.
Message Content and Frequency
Text messages may include, but are not limited to:
Account updates and notifications
Payment reminders and confirmations
Resolution options and settlement offers
Links to individualized account pages
Other account-related information
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and communication preferences. Snow & Sauerteig LLP does not send more than one message per every three days unless you initiate a conversation.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. If you have questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless carrier. Snow & Sauerteig LLP is not responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by any of the following methods:
Reply STOP. Reply “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request.
Email. Send an email to contact@snowsauerteig.com with “STOP TEXT” in the subject line, including the phone number you wish to opt out and your account number (if known).
Call. Call our office at (260) 969-3255 and inform us that you wish to opt out of text messages.
Upon receipt of your opt-out request, we will cease sending text messages to your mobile number within fifteen (15) days, except that we may send a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out request.

Resubscription
If you have previously opted out and wish to resume receiving text messages, you may opt back in by:
Replying “START” or “UNSTOP” to our short code or phone number;
Contacting our office by phone or email to request presubscription; or
Completing a new consent form.
Wong Number
If you receive a text message from Snow & Sauerteig LLP and you are not the individual associated with the account, please respond “WONG NUMBER,” email contact@snowsauerteig.com, or call our office at (260) 969-3255.
Supported Carriers
Text messaging services are available on most major wireless carriers in the United States, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others. Snow & Sauerteig LLP is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by your wireless carrier.
Carrier Disclaimer
Snow & Sauerteig LLP and wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and may be affected by network conditions, device compatibility, or other factors outside our control.
Privacy
Your mobile telephone number and the information you provide will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number with third parties for their marketing purposes without your express consent. State-Specific Disclosures
California Residents: Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. City of Chicago Residents: WE comply with all applicable federal and Illinois state laws regarding text message communications.
Florida Residents: Pursuant to the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (Fla. Stat. 501.059), you have the right to opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP.” We will honor your opt-out request within fifteen (15)days. Before bringing any action for damages under the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act for text message solicitations, you must notify us by replying “STOP” and allow fifteen (15) days for us to cease sending text messages.
Residents of Tennessee, Georgia, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Arkansas: We comply with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable state laws regarding text message communications. your consent to receive text messages is voluntary and not required as a condition of any purchase or service.
Texas Residents: Pursuant to Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 302, as amended by Senate Bill 140, text messages will only be sent between the hours of 8am and 9pm in your local time zone. Your consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of any purchase or service.
Wisconsin Residents: We comply with Wisconsin’s Do Not Call regulations (ATCP 127). If your telephone number is registered on the Wisconsin No Call list and you have not provided express consent to receive text messages, we will not send you unsolicited text messages.
Modifications
Snow & Sauerteig LLP reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised SMS Terms. Your continued receipt of text messages after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
Governing Law
These SMS Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
